I have also found that yoga and meditation helps with tension headaches. Since practicing yoga and meditation daily for a year, my headaches have gone away.

These are all helpful tips. I also suffer from muscle tension headache, manifested as chronic fatigue, pain in the back of the head and easy irritability. Too many tasks needed to be done at the end of the day has caused this. I take care of my husband with mobility issues, my mom with end stage cancer, and my 3 year old grandson too. Plus of course, my work at home online job and the household chores too. Just got too much on my plate right now.
